Guests staying in an Al Husn Suite will receive the following complimentary benefits: return limo transfers, seleceted beverages from in-room mini bar, I-pod rental, laundry service, internet access, infinity swimming pool, in-room DVD player, happy hour between 7-8pm in the Al Husn Lobby(except during Ramadan), newspaper, high tea daily between 3.30-5.00pm, beach bag, fruit plate, turn down service, reserved beach and sun lounges, 24 hour butler service and farewell gift on departure.


Building Work

Development is taking place at Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa. This work is being carried out at the main entrance, as well as on the headland adjacent to the Al Husn hotel. There is also a shopping area being developed between the Omani Heritage Village and Ampitheatre. Completion dates for the projects are scheduled to be at the end of 2008. There will also be some enhancement work at Al Husn hotel over the summer months which will be concentrated around the private beach. The nature of the work will have an impact on the serenity of the private beach and the hotel, therefore the hotel will be closed from 1 Jun-30 Sep 2008.


Honeymoon

For period 01/11/08 - 07/01/09 Any honeymoon couples staying a minimum of 5 consecutive nights will receive the following:- complimentary in room fruit basket and flowers. Complimentary celebration cake, one hour Chi Spa treatment for 2 and upgrade to next room category subject to availability. For period 08/01/09 - 07/01/10 Any honeymoon couples staying a minimum of 6 consecutive nights will receive the following:- complimentary in room fruit basket and flowers. Complimentary private dinner served on guests private balcony including a bottle of champagne.


Child Policy

Please be aware that the hotel does not allow children on the private beach and pool area of Al Husn. Children can use the facilities at Al Waha and Al Bandar. The hotel cannot accommodate an extra bed for children in the room.
